In this generation, all everyone knows is what’s on the screen of their phone. We don’t spend much time getting to know one another, let alone one another’s culture. There are plenty events in your very backyard that allows you experience a different culture for a day.

At 10:30 a.m to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, the Korean Baptist Church will hold their fifth annual Korean festival at the church. At the festival, you get the chance to taste authentic Korean food, watch dance routines and skits by the church’s youth group, and see traditional fan dances done in traditional Korean clothes.

All profits from the festival will go towards West African Missions. So stop by, if you have time to experience the culture and support a good cause. Head to 2659 McKee Rd, Dover, DE 19904 on Saturday, or search Dover Korean Festival 2017 on Facebook for more information.
