The Dover High School AFJROTC did an outstanding job with their unit inspection Tuesday, 9 January 2018.

They received Exceeds Standards in 22 out of the 23 categories, and received a Meets Standards in the 23rd category resulting in an overall rating of Exceeds Standards.

For the cadet staff in the program, it has been a long and challenging process to prepare for this inspection. This inspection from the AFJROTC Headquarters happens every three years as a part of the process to oversee 120,000 cadets, in 900 plus AFJROTC programs around the world.

After the cadet staff briefed the inspector in the morning, a huge weight was lifted off their shoulders. Tyler McDougall, Linda Gonzalez, Jose Colon-Silva, Taylor Purner, and Aspen Ozer are to be commended for their time spent with Command Chief Master Sergeant Kenney, the inspector, answering all his questions. Also, a great job and congratulations must be extended to Sydni Warman for commanding her flight for the drill evaluation. Also, congratulations to Michael Desmond-Klim and Tyler McDougall for receiving the top performer award for the inspection. Lastly, thank you to Major John Murphy and Senior Master Sergeant Eric Herriman for helping the corps prepare for this inspection.
