Meet a Teach – ROTC Instructors

By: Cadet Michael McClain  This is Major John Murphy, he has been teaching at Dover High School since 2001. Out of all the years of teaching AFJROTC at Dover High School, he says “The hardest part of each year is getting more than the 20 percent of students in the Corps to do something.” Major Murphy has worn the uniform for a consecutive 43 years, four years in ROTC in college, joined the military and stayed in for 17 years.
